Subsystems

Chassis

A 4130 chromoly tube frame weighing 84.6 lb, built for driver protection and stiffness, wrapped in a carbon-fiber seat and body panels.

Suspension

Front double A-arms and rear semi-trailing arms with 13–13.5 inches of travel to absorb rocks, logs, and hard landings.

Powertrain

An electronic CVT with about 80% less rotating inertia than an off-the-shelf unit drives a custom two-stage reduction gearbox with carburized 8620 steel gears and titanium axles.

Controls and electronics

Electronic CVT control plus the sensors and data acquisition we use to validate every design in the dirt.

Manufacturing

In-house fabrication and machining backed by industry partners, from tube bending and welding to gear hobbing and splining.
