The team

The team behind car #51

Aggie engineers and business students who design, build, test, and fund a new off-road car every year.

Our story

Texas A&M Baja SAE grew out of the Texas A&M Racing Apprentices program as a development path for the university's Formula team. Since our first competition in Kansas in 2018, we've designed and built a new car every season.

The team is open to every major and class year. Engineers design, machine, and test real hardware; business members run sponsorships, finance, and media. Graduates leave with the kind of experience employers ask about in interviews.
